Two Separate Road Incidents in Wilton: A DUI and a Breach of Peace

June 25th

At 2:12 am, at 28-year-old female from New Fairfield was involved in a DUI on Danbury Road in Wilton. The driver drifted over two lanes to the left, signaled to change lanes back to the left north bound lane, and finally swerved from the left north bound lane to the right south bound lane on the other side of Route 7. She was pulled over and arrested after failing a sobriety test. The driver was taken to Wilton HQ and released in the morning after her boyfriend posted a $250 bond. 

June 26th

At 1:30 am, a complaint about damage done to a motor vehicle on Danbury Road near Hollyhock Lane was made to Wilton Police. A 19-year-old man from Norwalk, after being accused of throwing an object at someone else's car, was charged with Breach of Peace in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Throwing Objects at a Motor Vehicle. The man is set to appear in court.
