On July 6, 2017 the Wilton Police Department arrested Richard Sosa, age 46, of the Bronx, NY for an attempted shoplifting of merchandise from the CVS located in Wilton Center. Sosa was also found to be in possession of a stolen credit card. He was charged with Attempted Larceny in the 6th Degree and Credit Card Theft.
