The Wilton Police Department is warning residents of an “infidelity scam” that states to the recipient “I know about the secret you are keeping from your wife” and demands a payment of $2,000 in Bitcoin to keep confidential.
Do not send any money if you receive a letter of similar nature and do not hesitate to contact Wilton PD to report: (203) 834-6260.
