The Color of Comedy at the Museum of the Moving Image

Feb. 6, The Color of Comedy, 1 pm. 

An afternoon forum on the intersection of race and media offered in collaboration with the Black Filmmaker Foundation. Part 1 (1 pm to 2:30 pm) is a screening of Harry Belafonte's 1967 ABC-TV special A Time for Laughter: A Look at Negro Humor in America. Part 2 (3 pm to 5 pm) is a discussion with African American comedians, including Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Leighann Lord, and Mugga Phoenix.
