The 12th Annual Festival of Trees for Ann’s Place will take place on Saturday, November 22- Sunday, November 23, with a kick-off party on Friday evening, November 21, honoring Paul P. Dinto, for his major role in the building of Ann’s Place.
This fun-filled, family weekend will feature a select exhibit of LEGO® sculptures and murals by Sean Kenney, renowned, award-winning artist and LEGO Certified Professional (the first of only twelve in the world.) Sean uses LEGO pieces to design and create contemporary sculpture for high-profile clients, major corporations and venues around the globe.
Though Sean, himself, will not be present, he will be represented by a large self-portrait, created from over 12,000 LEGO pieces.
Ann’s Place is grateful to Sean and his staff for working with us to be able to share some of his works at this year’s Festival of Trees.
Also featured at the Festival will be baseball legends Charlie Hayes, Willie Aikens, Billy Sample and others, in addition to the LEGO Artists Challenge, Robotics Competition, Children’s Teas, Jewelry Designs’ “Digging for Diamonds,” Artisans, Crafters, Vendors, Quilts & Handmade Items, Marketplace and raffles of nearly 200 decorated trees and prizes. There will be live entertainment throughout the weekend.
