The MTA has issued a Harlem Line Service Alert after several people were struck and killed by a Metro-North train in the vicinity of the Valhalla station. "Harlem Line Service is temporarily suspended between North White Plains and Pleasantville due to a train striking a motor vehicle in the vicinity of Valhalla," reports the MTA.
The NY Daily News is reporting that the Harlem Line train slammed into a vehicle sitting on the tracks about 6:30 p.m. causing what local police called a ‘mass casualty incident.’ Officials said at least six people, including the driver of the car, were killed in the crash.
