Bethel's Byrd’s Books brings Poetry to Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery

On Sunday, March 19th, join Bethel’s popular independent bookstore, Byrd’s Books, for an afternoon of poetry read by emerging local student and seasoned faculty poets in the cozy environs of its neighbor, Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery.

The special event will feature readers from Sacred Heart and Western Connecticut State University. Located at 5 Depot Place, the Brewery will welcome poet enthusiasts and the word curious at 3:00pm with chips & dips on the tables and plenty of time to order food and beverage before beginning the readings at 4:00pm.

Byrd's Books will have a small sampling of poetry for sale at the event in anticipation of National Poetry Month, celebrated annually in April. There is a $5.00 registration fee, and you can sign up before the event through Broken Symmetry at https://bit.ly/41XT76D “It’s such a pleasure stepping out our door to encourage new community discourse and share with new faces.
