Award-winning Children’s Book Author, Grace Lin, Drops by Bethel’s Byrd’s Books For Special Book Signing

Award-winning author and illustrator, Grace Lin is the bestselling writer of over thirty books. On Friday, October 6th, Bethel’s Byrd’s Books will welcome the prolific children’s book favorite to sign her newest, as well as some of her most highly honored books, always stocked amidst the many shelves of children’s books for which the popular bookstore is known.

A recipient of the Children’s Literature Legacy Award, Ms. Lin’s books include a Caldecott Honor, A Big Mooncake  for Little Star; a Newbery Honor, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon; a National Book Award Finalist, When the Sea Turned to Silver; Once Upon a Book; and the Ling & Ting series. Her recently published book, Chinese Menu, co-authored with Kate Messier, is a lushly illustrated, full-color exploration of the whimsical myths and stories behind our favorite American Chinese food. Grace Lin is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and lives in Massachusetts.
