Bethel’s tastiest event of the year, Restaurant Week 2025, runs Monday, February 24, through Sunday, March 2. Participating restaurants will offer special three-course fixed-priced menus: with one exception (see below), lunch is $29.95 and dinner $49.95, excluding beverage, tax and tips. New this year, diners will have the opportunity to win $25 gift cards and other surprise gifts. “The more you dine, the more chances you have to win,” said Janice Chrzescijanek, Bethel’s director of Economic Development, which is co-sponsoring Restaurant Week with the Chamber of Commerce.
Fourteen restaurants and eateries—from the Stony Hill area and around the entire stretch of Greenwood—are participating, and more are expected as the event nears. One is Whitlock’s, a casual restaurant at 273 Greenwood. When John Murray bought Whitlock’s two and a half years ago, he upgraded the food and added an Irish atmosphere. “I turned a pub into an Irish pub,” he said. He loves Restaurant Week as it is an opportunity to show off the restaurant’s hearty fare to new and existing patrons and is a good lead-in to St. Patrick’s Day.
A listing of all participants and their Restaurant Week specials is available at the Bethel Chamber of Commerce website.
