Easy To Make Candy Turkeys!

From Carol Herbert:

Here's a great project for the kids to make. They like being part of the Thanksgiving preparation, too!

You will need:

Double stuff Oreo cookies- 2/turkey
Small Reese's peanut butter cups
Whoppers
Candy Corn
silver dragees
1 large tube of white icing
1 large tube of orange icing

Unwrap a peanut butter cup and cut of a small slice so it will sit flat when on its side. Place a small bit of white icing on cut side and "glue" it in center of cookie.
Place another bit of icing on larger(ruffled) end of peanut butter cup and place Oreo on end against it.
Place a bit of icing on Whopper and place on top of peanut butter cup as head.
Run a stripe of orange icing half way along double stuff line. Place candy corn, point side down, into icing line, as feathers. Be careful not to break cookie apart. If you do, just take a bit of white icing and re-attach.
Make the turkey's face with the white tip of a candy corn "glued" on with a bit of orange icing and place dragees along each side for eyes.
Have fun, they won't all look perfect, but they'll be great.
Happy Thanksgiving!
