NFL Running Back Partners with Bethel-Based Charity

On Friday, March 23rd, the Save-A-Suit organization teamed up with Trey Edmunds to give suits to those in need. Trey Edmunds is a running back for the New Orleans Saints, but grew up in the small town of Danville, Virginia. He partnered with Save-A-Suit to give back to his community.

“I feel it is the least I can do given the position I am in,” said Edmunds. “Working with Save-A-Suit gives me the perfect opportunity to go out and help people in need.”

The CT-based charity distributed over 50 suits to underserved youth and programs that help with employment and leadership development.

“To see the people walk out of here with smiles on their faces, this is what warms my heart,” said Edmunds.

Save-A-Suit provides professional business attire and other resources to veterans and students. Save-A-Suit hosts days of giving quarterly. The organization also ships suits to veterans nationwide. You can learn more on www.saveasuit.org.
