Meet the Canine Stars of Johnny Peers & The Muttville Comix: A Comedy Adventure Dog Show at The Ridgefield Playhouse on November 4

Meet and greet the canine stars of Johnny Peers & the Muttville Comix! Back by popular demand, Johnny Peers and his personality-plus dogs are coming to tickle your funny bone, or bury it! Johnny Peers & The Muttville Comix: A Comedy Adventure Dog Show returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse Sunday, November 4 at 1pm, part of the Ridgefield Academy Family Series with support from HamletHub and partially underwritten by South Salem Animal Hospital & Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital. Starring mostly dogs rescued from shelters, this show for the whole family will have you howling with laughter and begging for more! Meet and greet tickets have just been added to this show – get your chance to pet the pups and pose for a photo after the show! The Leir Foundation Arts for Everyone recipient for this show is SPHERE. Additional sponsorship provided by Union Savings Bank. Visit Dimitri’s Diner (16 Prospect St • Ridgefield) before or after the show and enjoy 10% off your meal when you show your ticket! Media partner for this event is 98Q Danbury’s Hit Music Station.

A Ringling Brothers Clown College graduate, Johnny Peers has been working with dogs — like Daphne, the world’s only skateboarding Basset Hound; Squeaky, the ladder climbing Fox Terrier; Mr. Pepe, who only responds to commands in Spanish; and Sir Winston the Pointer mix who only answers to “Sir”–– since he got his first puppy, Freckles, a Beagle mix, from the Humane Society. Since their 1980 debut, the Muttville Comix have appeared on “Late Night with David Letterman”, “Primetime Live” and “Circus of the Stars,” and have performed at Disneyland, Busch Gardens, the Big Apple Circus, the Royal Hanneford Circus, and even The White House!  In this dog-eat-dog world, it’s great to find such a fun, family-friendly event! Don’t miss your chance for tickets and wind up in the dog house!

For tickets ($25- Meet and Greet Ticket Bundle $45), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org.  The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
