Weather Update: Trick or Treat Street in Bethel

Trick or Treat Street in Bethel

Bethel Chamber has announced that due to the nor easter coming to town on Saturday, October 27, some Trick or Treat Street events have been moved from the Municipal Lawn (cider and donuts, haunted house, kids carnival games, DJ and our vendor tables) to the Historical Society at 40 Main Street.

Please use your best judgment about coming to Greenwood Avenue for trick or treating from 2 to 4 pm. Safety first!" they say.

From the Chamber:

- The businesses downtown will be open and loaded with treats.

- We've made special arrangements with the Bethel Historical Society to move our Municipal Lawn events indoors to 40 Main Street. We'll have a number of local vendors there as well as donuts and cider, a DJ, a haunted house, a selfie station and kids carnival games.

- The pet costume contest has been combined with the one at Agway (74 South Street). The first 40 costumed pets will receive a $10 gift card, and there will be prizes for the top 5 winners, up to a $100 gift card plus even more prizes from Patricia's Presents!

- We'll be holding the costume contest at the Bethel Historical Society at 1 pm. And don't forget the costume contest for those 12 and under at Caraluzzi's.

- Games will also be held at Bethel Martial Arts (268 Greenwood Avenue) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in conjunction with Kids Kuts, Hair by Jen and Bethel IT Services.
