Songs of the Season candlelight concert on December 22 at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church

A "Songs of the Season" candlelight concert showcasing student singers will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 22 at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church.  Admission will be free, and cookies will be served in the parish hall afterward.

Voice students of Phoebe Madden will present a variety of sacred and secular songs accompanied by Bryan Dmchowski on piano and David Schmidt on guitar.  Before moving to Connecticut, Madden organized December concerts in Rhode Island that became a popular tradition in her community.  This "Songs of the Season" is her students' first concert in Connecticut.

"It is interesting that my Rhode Island students will journey to Bethel to collaborate with the new Connecticut students to make this first Connecticut voice concert extra festive," Madden said.  "The concert is a gift to the community to bring the peace and joy of the season to all."

St. Thomas' is located at 95 Greenwood Avenue, across from Caraluzzi's Bethel Food Market.
