Parent University on February 28 at Bethel Middle School

2019 Parent University on February 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Bethel Middle School

What is Parent University?
Parent University is an evening packed with free educational workshops designed for parents of children entering kindergarten through Grade 12 to help you understand what programs are available in the Bethel Public Schools and provide you with ways you can support your child at home.

Why should I go?
It’s also an opportunity for you to get more involved in your child’s education and get answers to questions – even some you didn’t know you
had. Is it mean, rude or bullying? Learn how to identify problem behavior. Are you worried about emotional safety? Dr. Carver; Captain Stephen Pugner, Bethel Police Department; and our School Resource Officers will lead a valuable discussion on school safety at 5:30 PM in the auditorium.

All new incoming kindergarten families should attend the Kindergarten Orientation workshop. We also encourage you to attend the Kickin’ It in Kindergarten workshop which focuses on preparing your child for kindergarten.

We also provide free childcare from 5:30 PM-8:20 PM for children ages 4 and up who are toilet trained.

Where and when?
All workshops are held at Bethel Middle School.
 Opening Presentation from 5:30 to 6:20 PM
 Session One is from 6:30 PM to 7:20 PM
