Book Sale at the Bethel Public Library on August 24

Annual Mini-BIG Book Sale: August 24

The Friends of the Bethel Public Library will hold its annual Mini-BIG Book Sale on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Library's lobby and community room. All proceeds from the sale help fund Library programs, including "First Book" for children and "Cultural Passes," which give patrons free or reduced admission to many Connecticut museums.

The Mini-BIG Book Sale will feature thousands of books and audiovisual materials for all ages, including nonfiction in every imaginable subject, as well as one-of-a-kind vintage books. Most items will be priced at 50¢ -$3, with a $5 bag sale starting at 3:00 pm.

The Book Cellar, located in the Library's basement, will be open throughout the sale. Here, shoppers find gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl all year round.

For information about the Friends of the Library, visit www.bethellibrary.org, or email Friends President, Jenny Tesar, at jetesar@sbcglobal.net.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements.
