Calligraphy Class for Teens and Adults at the Bethel Public Library

The Bethel Public Library will offer a free calligraphy class on Monday, September 16, 6:00-7:30 pm.

Like all creative endeavors, calligraphy is good for your brain; studies show that it increases neural activity similar to meditation. Plus, calligraphy can help you save money...think wedding and party invitations, signs, and greeting cards. Best of all, calligraphy is fun!

Instructor Debbie Reelitz will introduce the art of calligraphy and teach participants how to form Blackletter, also known as Gothic style. Once the basics are mastered, students will enjoy creating a project with their newly acquired skill!

This class is for adults and for teens (age 16 years & up). Registration is required and limited to 20.

For more information and to register, please go to www.bethellibrary.org, email adult@bethellibrary.org, or call 203-794-8756 x4. Bethel Public Library is located in downtown Bethel at 189 Greenwood Avenue.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements.
