Bethel Public Library Presents Hidden History in the Attic with an Urban Archeologist

Meet a real-life American picker at the Bethel Public Library! On Thursday, October 3, 6:00 pm, the Library proudly presents the fascinating program, “Hidden History in the Attic with an Urban Archeologist.”

Greg Van Antwerp has been digging for treasures from the past for over 35 years! His discovery of many odd and interesting items has led to a passion for research, restoration, and storytelling, which he shares with audiences throughout the region. Attend this multi-media program to see and hear about some of the poignant, humorous, and even important urban archeological finds. Armchair adventurers from high school students to adults will want to join us when Greg uncovers the stories of the forgotten people, places, and things that deserve to be known again!

Registration is required. Call the Bethel Public Library at 794-8756 ext. 4, email adult@bethellibrary.org, or register online at www.bethellibrary.org.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the program to make arrangements.
