Dog Training Secrets Revealed at the Bethel Public Library

The Bethel Public Library is giving dog owners an opportunity to learn the training secrets of a professional on Thursday, November 14, 6:30-8:00 pm.

Our presenter, professional dog trainer Virginia Dare, CTP, will teach us that food rewards are not the best way to get a dog to obey. In fact, there are better, more effective, and longer-lasting ways. Program attendees will learn how to prevent problems from ever starting, reinforce good behavior, and motivate dogs to do what is wanted.

This program is for adult and young adult humans, please do not bring a dog. Registration is required.

For more information and to register, please go to www.bethellibrary.org, email adult@bethellibrary.org, or call 203-794-8756 x4. Bethel Public Library is located in downtown Bethel at 189 Greenwood Avenue.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements.
