BETHEL -- Crafts, baked goods, gift baskets, and a farmer's market will be part of St. Thomas' Church Harvest Fair, 9-4 this Saturday, Nov. 9. Frozen homemade apple pie with baking instructions will also be sold, as well as freshly baked pie by the slice. Admission is free.
The fair includes a bake-off on the theme "fall desserts." Entries should be brought to the church by 11 a.m., along with a complete list of ingredients and a $5 entry fee. Winners will be announced at 1 p.m., and entries will be sold by the slice starting at 1:30. First, second and third prizes will be awarded.
St. Thomas' Episcopal Church is located at 95 Greenwood Avenue, across from Caraluzzi's Bethel Food Market. A stairs-free entrance is located at the rear of the building, accessed from Seeley St. Visit www.stthomasbethel.org.
