Free holiday concert at St. Thomas Episcopal in Bethel

To ring in Christmas and Hanukkah this year, beautiful young singers will perform a holiday concert for the Bethel and Redding communities for a free concert at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Sunday afternoon, December 22nd at 4pm.

In “Songs of the Season” angelic sounds of trained young singers and instrumentalists will fill the beautiful candlelit church in the heart of Bethel. Young and old can pause the hustle bustle and gather to enjoy sacred favorites such as “O Holy Night”, “ A Cradle in Bethlehem” and “Gesu Bambino” as well as popular tunes like “Sleigh Ride”, “It’s the Holiday Season” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”.  Two wonderful original songs will be also shared and at the end, the audience will have a chance to raise their voices as well.

The singers are trained by Phoebe Madden, who currently teaches out of St. Thomas Church and brings to Bethel 18 years of voice and acting instruction. CT pianist, Bryan Dmuchowski, will accompany the singers. The singers are both local and from out of town, ranging from age 10 to 23.

The concert is free to the community and doors will open at 3:45pm. Bring your family to St. Thomas and enjoy.
