Bethel's Byrd's Books zooms in on conversation with author Roger Rosenblatt on Oct. 28

Bethel's Byrd's Books has arranged a Zoom conversation on Wednesday, October 28th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with award-winning author, Roger Rosenblatt, to discuss his new book Cold Moon: On Life, Love, and Responsibility and the lessons we learn throughout our lives.

The event is not without forethought. This coming December, the Earth will experience the next Cold Moon, a  full moon also referred to as the Long Night Moon by some Native American tribes. Full moons bring closure and subsequent balance, and importantly, the full moon in December (the closest to the winter solstice) addresses end-of-year issues, concerns, fears, and dreams.

Approaching the winter solstice of his own life, Roger Rosenblatt has written a reflective book dedicated to the three most important lessons he has learned over his many years: an appreciation of being alive, a recognition of the gift and power of love, and the necessity of exercising responsibility toward one another. Rosenblatt's poetic reflections on these vital life lessons offer a tonic for these perilous and fearful times, and attest to the value of our very existence. Cold Moon: On Life, Love, and Responsibility is a book that offers readers a sense of purpose, encouraging attention on life's essentials and lifting the spirit. To participate in what will be a thoughtful and invaluable conversation, you can access the Zoom code and purchase your copy of Cold Moon: On Life, Love, and Responsibility, by going to https://conta.cc/3nEVBm0
