Ann's Place Virtual 2020 Holidays@Home Festival of Trees is Live!

Come one, come all! Let’s make holiday magic in the tradition of “Festival”. Only this year, enjoy Ann’s Place annual Festival of Trees from the comfort and safety of your own home!

The 2020 Holidays@Home Festival of Trees to benefit Ann’s Place is an exciting and totally re-imagined online event. You and your family can participate in three new, fun and creative challenges now through December 5th. The engaging and entertaining Festival contests will generate CASH prizes, all the while helping to raise funds for Ann’s Place FREE cancer services. This event has raised over $3.4 million since 2003 to support area cancer patients.

Create some holiday magic at your house by entering 1, 2, or 3 of the creative challenges or vote for your favorite entries to win by donating to Ann’s Place. Spread holiday excitement and encourage a little competition and lots of caring this season.

Another “don’t miss” is holiday shopping in Festival’s Click & Bid Auction. The auction and all 3 challenges are available at https://www.annsplacefestivaloftrees.org/

The Three Challenges:

Decorate a Tree or Holiday Item

Decorate your creative holiday entry for an online audience, including your grandparents in Florida! You decide size, theme, color, live or artificial. Have photographs ready when you register.

Opportunity to win from $250 up to $2,000 cash if you capture the most votes!

Think Outside the Box: Upcycle Sculpture Challenge

Take a break from remote work and home studies! Put your heads together to create a sculpture using a box as the foundation. Pick a theme. Save delivery boxes! Work with cardboard, paper, plastic, or metal. If you can recycle it, you can use it.

$250 Gift Card to entry with the most votes in each of 3 size categories.

Awkward Holiday Photo Competition

Bring silliness and your good eye! Whether it is a Holiday Feast gone wacky, a gathering of Ugly Sweaters, strange Porch Sitters, or Pets in Costume, jump into this light-hearted competition. No indecent or political photos. Always get permission from human subjects.

Top vote wins $250. Runner-up: $50.

Cancer doesn't stop during pandemics. In fact, social distancing adds an incredible layer of extra stress just getting to treatment and through recovery. Ann's Place has continued to be a beacon of hope through it all with indispensable professional counseling, online wellness classes, support groups, and financial aid. Their gardens and labyrinth offer a respite during the roughest, most isolating times. More than ever, Ann's Place needs your participation and support!
