Bethel’s Byrd’s Books Adds Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Group To Calendar of Events

A single human is sent to the icebound planet of Winter, where sexual prejudice does not exist and gender is fluid. His goal is to bridge the gap between his own views and those of the strange culture he encounters. On Tuesday, June 13th at 7:30pm, Bethel’s Byrd’s Books adds discussions of Sci-Fi & Fantasy to its ongoing book groups as readers and enthusiasts travel to Winter, there to delve into the 50th anniversary edition of Ursula K. Le Guin’s landmark book, The Left Hand of Darkness.
