Bethel Board of Education Approves 2018-2019 Superintendent's Recommended Budget

The Board of Education has approved the 2018-2019 Superintendent’s recommended budget. The Board of Selectman made a slight reduction bringing the Board of Education budget to 1.8% increase and was subsequently approved by the Board of Finance. The amount still maintains all of our top quality curricular and extracurricular programs, while continuing to make progress towards the Strategic Plan. The public will have an opportunity to provide input to the budget at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 20th at 7:00PM at Bethel High School. Childcare will be provided.

If you were unable to attend the budget presentation to the BOS/BOF or the presentation at Parent University we will be scheduling presentations with the parent organizations in all schools. As the schedule develops we will post it below, on the website, and on social media. The Board of Education wants to make sure you are informed and have a chance to be involved in the budget process. You are welcome to attend all or any of our budget presentations.
