Bethel Middle School Students' Art Selected for CT Scholastic Arts Competition and Show

Art teachers, Staci Obasi and Lee Skalkos are excited to announce four students from Bethel Middle School won awards and had their artwork selected for the prestigious CT Scholastic Arts Competition and Show.

Students left from right: Gabriel Rafael who won a gold key award for his carved ink block print, Alyssa Cardoso who won a silver key award for her pastel painting, Ayden Molina who won an honorable mention award for his pastel painting, and Sarah Alvero (seated) won a gold key award for her sgraffito ceramic plate.

The student show is held at the University of Hartford and runs from 1/14/18 to 2/2/18 and is open 12:00- 4:00 on weekends and 10:00-4:00 daily.

The awards reception will be held in the Silpe Gallery on Sunday, January 28th at 2:00 PM
