Bethel Public Schools has announce that Mrs. Jill DeRosa of Berry School was named the Elementary Excellence in Education Award and Mrs. Jennie Taranovich the Secondary Excellence in Education Award. According to Bethel Public Schools, The Bethel Education Foundation's Excellence in Education Award recognizes and honors superior educators whose creativity and innovation within the classroom, school, or district have had a significant impact on student performance and achievement and provide an ongoing model of excellence in encouraging all learners and educators to excel.
