Bethel's Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing brings St. Patrick's Day joy to SPHERE

Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing kicked-off SPHERE’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with an exhilarating performance last night before a packed house at the Ridgefield Recreation Center. Even better yet, these young dancers, all dressed in traditional Irish costume, had all of the SPHERE members step-dancing with them to the wonderful Celtic music.

“The dancers were really good and everybody loved their performance,” said SPHERE member Jennifer Bender.  “They also taught us how to step dance which made the whole evening a lot of fun!"

Thank you to the Doherty Petri School of Irish Dance and SPHERE’s music director Kim Pereira for a wonderful Irish celebration filled with traditional dance, music and storytelling!

SPHERE’s mission is to enrich and enhance the lives of adults with disabilities through education, recreation, and the arts while fostering and nurturing relationships between our members and our communities. Learn more about SPHERE here.
