RVNA Health Source: Upcoming Well Child Clinics

Every August, RVNA holds Well Child Clinics for children from birth to age 18. These provide annual physicals and immunizations needed for school and sports and are performed by local physicians who volunteer their time. The clinics are held on-site at RVNA, 27 Governor Street, and children from Ridgefield and all surrounding communities are welcome.

This year’s clinics will be held on August 8th with Dr. Jay D’Orso of Western Connecticut Health Network and August 15th with Dr. Anil Britto of Ridgefield Pediatrics. Both clinics run from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

A Well Child Clinic visit includes vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurements, anemia screening, urinalysis, blood pressure screening, doctor exam and any required vaccines or immunizations. The fee for a Well Child Clinic visit, including all immunizations, is $50. An immunization only visit is $21. Financial assistance is available. Thanks to generous donors, RVNA Well Child Clinics are open to all and especially those who are uninsured or underinsured.
