The Women's Center Hosts The Dangers of Social Media: a community conversation about the exploitation of youth

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and The Women's Center is hosting a Community Conversation event around the exploitation of youth in our communities and how social media plays a role in this important issue. This vital discussion will take place on Wednesday, January 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Community Room at Danbury Police Department

Human trafficking happens all over the country, the world, and right here in our catchment area. The conversation will be moderated by Women's Center staff members and include a panel of the professionals to facilitate the discussion. Please click the image to enlarge and view the panel.

This event is free to the public and light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact Cara, our Human Trafficking Specialist, at cara.m@wcogd.org.
