Connecticut COVID-19 Update: 415 Confirmed Cases, View Cases by Town

COVID-19 Update March 23, 2020

As of March 23, 2020, a total of 415 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported among Connecticut residents. Cases have been reported in all 8 Connecticut counties.

Fifty-four patients were hospitalized, and 10 residents have died (6 in Fairfield County, 2 in Hartford County, and 2 in Tolland County).

Dr. Katherine A. Kelley State Public Health Laboratory has tested a total of 944 patients for COVID19; 113 (12%) patients tested positive. The graph (image #2) below shows the number of patients tested by date specimens were received. Hospital and commercial laboratories also are offering testing for COVID-19 in Connecticut; in total, more than 4500 tests have been reported to date.
