Last Call! Bethel COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic to Cease Operations

The Bethel COVID-19 vaccine clinic has been very successful. In the past two months, the town has administered vaccines to over 5,000 Bethel residents.

Many more residents have received their vaccines through other clinics, hospitals and pharmacies in our area. At the same time, the supply of vaccines continues to increase and is now widely available through many convenient outlets. Consequently, the number of Bethel residents seeking a vaccine appointment has dropped dramatically over the past two weeks.

Due to this sharp drop in vaccine demand, Bethel will close its vaccine clinic by the end of May and is issuing a "last call" appeal for anyone who has not yet received their first shot.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DEADLINE:

Anyone aged 18 and up who wishes to schedule a first dose appointment through the Bethel clinic must call no later than this coming Monday, April 19th by 4:00pm to schedule an appointment.

You may schedule an appointment by calling one of these numbers:

                        Bethel COVID InfoLine        203-794-8523

                        Bethel Senior Center           203-794-8593

Please call during these hours:   Thursday 8-4, Friday 8-12 and Monday 8-4pm.

No new appointments for first shots will be accepted after Monday, April 19th. The clinic will remain in operation through the month of May to ensure that everyone who received the first dose will also receive their second dose. Bethel is administering the Moderna vaccine.

One last request: If you have previously scheduled with the Bethel clinic but have subsequently received your vaccine elsewhere, please call 203-794-8523 to let us know. This will help our volunteers a great deal.

Thank you for your cooperation.
