Bethel Municipal Centeer Open to Walk-ins, Please Continue Using Drop Boxes!

The Governor will lift remaining restrictions on businesses beginning tomorrow, May 19 and Bethel's Municipal Center will once again be open to walk-ins. However, residents are asked to use the Drop Boxes whenever possible.

First Selectman Matt Knickerbocker explains that there are some exceptions explaining that the pandemic has allowed the Town to create new ways to be productive in the Municipals Center. "Many of our offices have experienced significant increases in work during the last 14 months. We have had to be creative in using our existing resources and staff to create a safe and effective work environment while still handling the growing workload," he says.

The Municipal Center now has drop boxes in front and behind the building to leave paperwork, payments and other documents.

Knickerbocker encourages residents to continue using the drop boxes. In addition, residents are asked to continue using the entrance in front of the Gener APurpose Room as the only main entrance.
