The Bethel Police Department regrets to announce the recent passing of retired Staff Sergeant Charles "Charlie" Hupp.
Sgt. Hupp, Badge 44, served the Town of Bethel for over 34 years before retiring in 2007.
A regular fixture of the day shift, and Jacqueline's Restaurant, Sgt. Hupp was truly a gentle giant and will be sadly missed. RIP "44".
