Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Colonial Carpet & Flooring!
Three questions with Segundo Sanchez, owner of Colonial Carpet & Flooring.
Why did you start your business?
After working in the industry for over 10 years, it was time to for me to branch out on my own because as a locally owned and operated business we fully understand the value in taking care of the community as well as providing superior quality and services to all our customers. Because we are family run, we take the time to listen to each question and/or concern you may have throughout the duration of the project and ensure our complete attention to find a solution as quickly and efficiently as possible. Ultimately, because of starting our own business we can install products properly and make sure business is done fairly.
Best selling product/service?
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Since we know all the hard work that goes into running a local business, we try to support our fellow businesses as much as possible. Some local businesses include Tri-Star Graphics to print T-Shirts, True Value and Ring’s End for supplies, Famous Pizza and Rocco's Deli for food, Tom’s Painting and many more!
