Three questions with Ashley and Mihael Anton, owners of Kratos Gymnastics and Cheer.
Why did you start your business?
We started our business Kratos Gymnastics out of a pure love of the sport of gymnastics. Both owners Mihael and Ashley Anton were former gymnasts; Mihael being a member of the Romanian Men's National Team & Ashley competing up to level 10 in Connecticut. We both have experienced the sport first hand and know how much it touched and shaped our lives; we also know where the sport lacks as well which is why we chose to form our own gym to bring something new and unique to the sport especially within the state of Connecticut. Most importantly we wanted to bring a positive life experience to young girls through the sport of gymnastics whether they enroll in the sport for recreational or competitive purposes. Gymnastics teaches young girls so much more than acrobatic skill and it is an honor to have the ability to help shape the lives of our students through teaching a sport we love which entails discipline, setting goals, working hard to achieve what you desire, persistence, learning to lose gracefully and win humbly, trusting your abilities, and forming friendships while supporting people who are your direct competitors with the absence of jealousy.
We wish we could coach at least one of our students to become an Olympic champion.
Best selling product or service?
Our best selling service is gymnastics! We begin teaching girls as young as two and a half years old and have the ability to grow with them all the way up through college! We have the passion of reaching each of our students on an individual basis to help them grasp ahold of their dreams and realize their full potential. "No dreamer is too small, no dream is too big".
