You can score, too, as Bethel's Byrd's Books hosts Puzzle Week, Tuesday, August 20th through Sunday, August 25th. Owner Alice Hutchinson and her staff will have the pieces laid out for you to play, matched by a huge in-store puzzle sale all week long. Join them to gather up a supply of jigsaws and other puzzlements as gifts or pastimes, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with this popular independent, neighborhood book shop.
Of course, the puzzle sale lasts as long as supplies do, but there's plenty to find at Byrd's Books for that end-of-summer family weekend. Byrd's Books is located at 178 Greenwood Avenue, adjacent to The Toy Room and the nearby landmarked Opera House, across the street from the Bethel Public Library.
