Bethel's Byrd's Books taps your Creativity on Sept 24

Haydon's new book, The Non-Obvious Guide to Being More Creative. 

On Tuesday, September 24th, 7:00pm to 8:30pm, the author will conduct a special workshop and talk about her tap-your-creativity book at an evening at Bethel's Byrd's Books, answering such questions as: Why do some people seem more creative, and how can you be one of them? How can you have a continuous flow of actionable new ideas at work? What does it take to think differently when you are surrounded by people who don't?

 An award-winning educator, Kathryn P. Haydon has written and spoken widely on creative learning and the secret strengths of outlier thinkers. Kathryn writes a monthly column for The Creativity Post, has written extensively for publications and journals, her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, and she is a published poet. Kathryn earned her BA in Spanish literature and culture at Northwestern University and her MS in creativity and change leadership from the acclaimed International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY, Buffalo. Kathryn began her career as a banker in Chicago but a move to California catalyzed the discovery of her true calling as an entrepreneur. She founded Ignite Creative Learning Studio which evolved into Sparkitivity, now based near New York City.

Byrd's Books is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00am to 6:00pm, Sundays 12:00 noon to 4:00pm. On-street parking lines Greenwood Avenue, and municipal parking is available at the Bethel Public Library across the street and at the "Old Train Station" which is where Broken Symmetry now resides.
