Why Small Businesses Matter in Bethel: TotalHousehold Pro

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT TotalHousehold Pro!

Four questions with Jeff LaCava, founder of TotalHousehold Pro.

Why did you start your business?

We started the business because we knew we can help people in the construction industry and home service providers with a better solution to websites and other digital marketing needs that were currently available to them.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business. "I wish I could…"

I wish I could get anyone and everyone in a room and show them what they can do for free for themselves to help their internet presence and how we can help them by accessing the services that are typically only available to big businesses, not small or local businesses.

What is your best selling product/service?

Our Digital Marketing Service is our premium product. This includes website creation, hosting, content creation, and overall internet presence management. Businesses don't realize how important it is where you host your website and the reputation of that server. It doesn't matter so much what your website looks like, but where it is hosted and the structure of the content. These are things you just can't get from a friend who builds websites or a place that does cookie-cutter websites. You need a professional service to have it done right.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We use Tri-Star Graphics in Bethel for a lot of our promotional items. We also use Housatonic Media Services in Bethel for public relations.
