Why Small Businesses Matter Reimagined

Small businesses matter - now more than ever. They are answering the call with innovation and determination like never before.

We hope you join us in supporting them by sharing their story far and wide and shopping local! We are thankful to Fairfield County Bank for their continued support and making this series possible.

What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?

Sunflower Studio has been super busy preparing for an amazing fall session full of hands-on, educational, online, and in-studio classes for students ages 4-10.

Our online classes are unique in that we are a local business and most of our classes are full of local students so they know each other and can meet up after class is over.

Our in-studio classes offer great options such as chemistry labs, international desserts, to artful geometry!

Are you offering any new products, or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?

We moved to online classes in March and have received outstanding support from our current and new families! We expanded our online classes for this fall session. Explore our National Park Service and learn about habitats or take a virtual trip with me Around the World - no matter what class, we are having some super awesome educational adventures together!

Please share the ways your business is adapting to keep your customers and employees safe in addition to the standard guidelines.

We have reduced the size of our in-studio classes and reorganized the entire studio to make our classroom spaces accommodate social distancing. Classes will be taught outside as much as possible. We gave preference to sibling groups to limit exposure to our educators and modified our drop off and pick up to parking lot only. Our fall session ends at Thanksgiving break so if families choose to travel, we will be limiting studio exposure. We feel that we are providing a safe and clean environment for students to get some much needed educational and social options this fall.
