Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Bethel Integrative Massage!

Three questions with Gabriela Fiallo, founder of Bethel Integrative Massage.

Why did you start your business?

After being a mobile massage therapist and doing massages at my client's house for a long period of time, I decided to establish my practice and stop driving or working for others. I became a mom in 2019, and this event inspired me to set up my practice close to home. I have been living in Bethel for five years and this community has been so great that I was convinced this was the perfect town to start my business.

I am very happy to be part of such a great community. Since the opening of my business, I have been showered with tons of support from other small businesses, which makes me love this town even more.

What is your best selling product/service?

I am a great Sports Massage Therapist. My Sport Massages sessions are a multimodality combination of stretches, breathing techniques, passive and active range of motion, and Thermotherapy.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I recently have been doing small business marketing collaborations with Pure Wax as well as Enlightened. I made my business cards with Lawlor Graphics and use them for all my printed advertising. I am a fan of Eco restaurant as well as Jaylawrence restaurant.

Bethel Integrative Massage is located at 24 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel. Visit them online here, and make sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages as well!.
