This week, U.S. News & World Report released their 2021 Best High Schools ranking. The publication reviewed nearly 24,000 U.S. public high schools; 205 Connecticut schools made their rankings.
Bethel High School was ranked in the top 50 of the Best High Schools in Connecticut for the US News and World Reports Rankings.
Bethel High School was ranked 47 (up from 53 last year).
There are 556 high schools in the state of Connecticut. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college.
According to U.S. News & World Report, the new edition ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country, measuring how well schools serve students from various social and economic backgrounds.
