Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Soulber Health + Healing!

Four questions with Sara Oberhammer, founder of Soulber Health + Healing.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business because I have a passion for creating healthy, fun meals! I wanted to provide a way for people to be able to enjoy the meals too - without the hassle.

What is your best-selling product/service?

The best-selling bowls are the Thai Delight and the Sweets + Beets. The juices have also become very popular and we do cleanse kits that people have been loving as well!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We partner with Cross Culture Kombucha and Lesser Evil snacks and have them available on the prep menu each week. We also love to partner with Enlighten Sauna Studio to host fun wellness events.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

I just keep imagining ways I want to grow it! I really want it to be this huge community of friends “living Soulber” aka happy, healthy, energized + present.

Sara would like to nominate Vicki's Kitchen in Bethel to be featured next!
