Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

Three questions with Sara Oberhammer, founder of Soulber Kitchen [s o u l b e r ~ to be free of anything weighing your soul down]

Why did you start your business?

I wanted to help as many people eat healthy as I could … and to do so in a way that was hassle-free for the consumer!

Best selling product or service?

Our best-selling bowl is the Thai Delight and the Dark Side of the Moon is one of our most popular drinks!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We carry Cross Culture Kombucha and Lesser Evil Snacks.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

I first started with delivering meal prep and as I grew, I began incorporating other healthy goodies from other local businesses.
