You may have noticed the new tables on the Bethel Public Library lawn.
In December 2020, the Library was one of five recipients for AARP's Livable Communities Grant, which funds projects that improve communities to the benefit of all residents' ages and abilities.
After seeing how many Bethel residents enjoyed the picnic tables loaned to us by the town during the spring season of 2020, we knew we wanted to install permanent tables where anyone can eat, read a book, use their laptop with access the library's wifi, and hang out with their friends and family.
We love how they came out, and we know you will too!
