DAWS Breaks Ground on New Shelter!

After years of planning and fundraising, Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS), located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, broke ground on Tuesday - renovations to build a new and improved shelter for the many furry visitors is underway!

The new modern renovated center will give DAWS the space to support additional rescues, promote more adoptions and provide better medical care for the animals.

Architect Lynne Persan and Tary Tarlton of Kenosia Construction continue to donate both the design and construction to DAWS.
