Generous donations allow DAWS to complete renovation project in one phase

Last week, DAWS officially kicked off its renovation on March 1st with a ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony attended by over 60 supporters, dignitaries, donors, volunteers, staff, and friends.

DAWS renovation chair Cheryl Rykowski announced that the project, originally slated to take place in two phases, will now be complete after phase 1. "While we initially thought we would need to complete the renovation in two phases, we were humbled and awed by a series of very generous donations that are allowing us to fully replace our kennels, and upgrade the rest of the building, in ONE phase!"

The anticipated completion date for the all-new DAWS, is June 2023 "with the resumption of services, back in our shelter, shortly thereafter," says Cheryl
