Saturday, September 22!

New This Year! 5k run! Support Putnam Service Dogs and join in on a day of fun!

Join the fun at Putnam Service Dogs’ 2nd Annual Day in the Park Event at Green Chimneys, 400 Doansburg Rd., Brewster, NY, Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Putnam Service Dogs’ is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary, the joy of dogs, and gorgeous Green Chimneys. Bring your dog (if leashed and friendly). Putnam Service Dogs’ pups in training will be there, as well.

Enjoy a delicious picnic - breakfast and/or lunch - from the Food trucks. A DJ will provide energizing tunes. Free to attendees: guided tours of Green Chimney’s animals, freshly popped popcorn, an All Ages Jumbo Bounce Ride. Vendor booths, an aerialist, Westy: Danbury Westerners’ mascot, and raffle prizes to round out the fun.

The 5K race and Strut Your Pup Parade (with your dog, or solo) will be on a dirt and gravel road through Green Chimney’s lush forest and unique farmland path. If you run the 5K, or walk the 1 mile Strut Your Pup Parade with your dog, please make sure beforehand your dog has been adequately trained and able to handle the physical exertion and distance.


Schedule of Events!
9am-10am - check-in for 5K race - $30 registration fee adults/$10 fee for kids 10am-11am - 5K race and check in for Strut Your Pup Parade

11am-12pm - Strut Your Pup Parade - $30 registration fee adults/$10 for kids

5K racers and Strut Your Pup walkers will receive an Event tee shirt, a bottle of water, protein bar, and a goodie bag.
