Notice of public hearing
In October of 2018, the Charter Revision Committee received the charge from the Board of Selectmen as to proposed changes to the Charter of the Town of Bethel, the towns governing document.
Over the last eleven months, the Charter Revision Committee has held a public hearing and monthly meetings to review, hear and discuss proposed changes. Changes range from technical changes to the charter and the governing process.
The Charter Revision Committee will hold a second public hearing Wednesday, September 25th, 2019, General Purpose Room, Bethel Municipal Center at 7pm.
Public input is vital to this process and we extend an invite to all Bethel residents to participate in the public hearing and provide an opportunity to articulate any changes to the charter.
