Presidential Primary Sample Ballots and Important Info for Bethel Voters

Presidential Preference Primary on August 11

Governor Lamont Signed an Executive Order in May allowing all eligible Connecticut residents to vote absentee in the August 11 Primary Elections. Last week the Secretary of State mailed absentee ballot applications to all registered Democratic and Republican voters. However, the polls will be open for in-person voting for the August 11 primary, should you decide to cast your ballot in person. All of the usual Bethel polling locations will be open for in person voting for the Primary. Polling locations are open from 6am to 8pm.

Republican Primary 8-11-20 Sample Ballot (State Senate District #26)

The Secretary of the State has mailed absentee ballot applications out to all registered Democrats and registered Republicans for use in the Primary to be held on August 11, 2020. To vote by absentee ballot, fill out the application and return it in the postage paid envelope. You can also drop your absentee ballot application off using the official absentee ballot drop box located in front of the Municipal Center.

You can check on your voter registration status here: www.govote.ct.gov. This is the Secretary of the State’s voter look up tool. It does NOT recognize punctuation in a name. This includes a hyphen or apostrophe.  O’Connor would have to be input as OConnor for the voter look up tool to work.
